So, I know it's been awhile, but I'm back to tell you something very important. At this point in my pregnancy (31 weeks), it feels as if a semi-truck could drive through my crotch. Seriously. I don't remember having this feeling with Nora...at least not as severely. I can't say it is the most enjoyable feeling, or one that I will miss when this is over.
Every once in a while, after standing up, it feels as if one of my legs is not completely attached to my pelvis. This is the main reason I have not been able to sleep for more than a two hour stretch at night. When I wake up, my hip/pelvis aches so badly that I have to get out of bed to get everything back into place. This also aides my need to pee all the frigging time, but it is still awake time when I should be sleeping.
I know that some people, some of you actually, get very nostalgic about being pregnant. I can't say that I am ever going to be one of those people. Being pregnant is no longer a novel experience and right now all I want is to meet our son and get him the hell out of my body. I obviously don't want to have him as early as Nora (6 weeks), but I don't hope to make it to my due date. Two or three weeks early will be most ideal. If it were possible to birth this baby right now, I'd be up for it.
Bring it on!

Ah yes... I remember when my wife was pregnant and a semi-truck drove through her crotch. yes, yes, those were the days. :)
You should write a book, April, so women who feel the way you do could relate - - no fantasized accounts of pregnancy - - just tell it like it is. Write now because I'm hoping you'll soon forget the worst of these feelings after your "little man" arrives!
who knew my husband was so funny?
