The Crab

We spent most of last Friday searching for a farm to buy a broiler (chicken) to make for Amber's last day at our house. After hours of searching, we started heading for the ferry with nothing in hand. Right before we entered Clinton, there was a big sign on the side of the road advertising LIVE CRAB. We screached to a halt and turned around to get us some crab. I walked up to the guy with all the cash we had left: $25. I told him I wanted $25 of crab. He weighed out the two crab and it came to just a little over $27. Once again, April makes a deal and walks away with the two crab for $25. Here they are gracing our kitchen floor as we waited for the water to boil. They obviously knew what was coming next.
